Product Description of Multi Media Filter System

The Automatic Multi Media Filtration System is designed to provide reliable and continuous removal of suspended solids, turbidity, and particulate contaminants from industrial and municipal water supplies. By utilizing multiple filtration media with different particle sizes and densities, the system achieves efficient depth filtration while maintaining low pressure loss and stable water flow.

Operation Guide

System Start-up

Before operation, verify that the filtration media has been properly loaded and all valves are in the correct operating position. Start the feed water pump gradually until the designed operating flow rate is reached.

Normal Filtration

Raw water enters the top of the vessel and passes downward through multiple media layers. Suspended solids are retained within the filter bed while clean water exits through the outlet manifold.

Backwash Process

When differential pressure reaches the preset value or the programmed operating time has elapsed, the system automatically initiates the backwash cycle. Water flows upward through the media bed, removing accumulated contaminants and restoring filtration efficiency.

Return to Service

After backwashing is completed, the system automatically returns to filtration mode without requiring complicated operator intervention.
